Sapiro: The Jew Who Sued Henry Ford

    Michael Rose is an award winning author, journalist and filmmaker, who’s produced over 200 documentary television programs.

     He has the distinction of writing, producing and directing the very first program to air on the History Channel. His programs have aired on numerous networks and been licensed in over 100 countries. 

     Based in Los Angeles, he’s served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the International Documentary Association and is a member of the Director's Guild of America and the Writers Guild West.  He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Theater, Film and Television Department of UCLA.  He’s a contributing editor to Documentary Magazine and writes for the Huffington Post.  He’s currently at work on his second book, tracing the history of Look magazine.

    Carol King, is first and foremost a long time proponent of women’s rights. A Detroit native, she was active in government, public policy and politics for 25 years, as a staff person, advocate, candidate, and consultant.

    She was inducted into the Michigan Women’s Hall of Fame in 2008 in recognition of her contributions to the Women’s Movement.

    Since moving to California, King has been working as an Executive Producer with her husband, Michael Rose, in their boutique production company specializing in factual programming for television.  She’s overseen development, production, post-production and distribution of countless programs delivered to numerous networks around the world.

    Her desire is to use media to tell stories that move us to work for a more equal and just society for everyone.

    Jackie Krentzman is an executive producer in charge of fundraising for "The Trial of Henry Ford". She recently served as executive producer/producer of the 2014 documentary, "American Jerusalem, Jews and the Making of San Francisco" which aired on Public Television Stations, screened at numerous film festivals and won a Cine Golden Eagle award. 

   She spent 20 years as the editorial director of DCP, a custom publishing group. She is the proprietor of Krentzman Communications, which assists companies and nonprofits with their strategic communication strategies and execution. Krentzman has taught at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and UC Berkeley Extension. She earned her Masters of Journalism from UC Berkeley and a BA from the University of Michigan. She lives in Berkeley, California where she is on the board of the Berkeley Community Fund.  

    As a native Detroiter, David Newman was aware of the story of Henry Ford's anti-semitism since childhood and is dedicated to applying his managerial skills and knowledge to help bring this documentary to the public.

    Newman, started a business in the computer industry servicing the legal profession and received national recognition from the American Bar Association. He later served as a consultant to the Audit Services Department of General Motors and as a project or division manager for a wide range of companies including a software development company and ad agency D'Arcy-MacManus & Masius, among others.

    In the final ten years of his career he was a management consultant performing turn-arounds and assisting start-ups.

    He brings his vast organizational experience as well as knowledge of Detroit and its history to the management team.
